Ricardo Gil joined Trea AM in 2014. Previously, he held various roles at Bankinter’s asset management division, including Director of Investments for funds and pensions, Senior Fund Manager (equities and mixed assets), and Manager of the BK Kilimanjaro fund from 2006 to 2011, one of Spain’s pioneering absolute return funds, for which he received several awards and a rating from Citiwire. Before that, from 1996 to 2003, he worked at Renta 4 as the direct head of Spanish and European equity funds, where he earned Lipper and Morningstar awards.

He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Zaragoza, CEFA certification from the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts, and has completed various postgraduate courses at LSE and SFI.
