Josep is the General director of the Instituto de Estudios Financieros (IEF) in Barcelona, President and Founder of the European Financial Planning Association (EFPA Europe), an independent advisor, and a board member of Mediolanum Gestión SGIIC, Mediolanum Pensiones, and the real estate company FIPRORE, S.A. Previously, he was CEO of Databolsa S.A., Sales Director at the Barcelona Stock Exchange, and a Senior Consultant for the US Department of Commerce. In the European context, he has participated in and founded numerous institutions and associations in the financial, educational, and political sectors.

Josep holds a degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona, a degree and MBA from ESADE Business School, and a Research Diploma from LSE.
